I owe you all an apology for not sharing an article last week. Things have been incredibly busy as I’ve been laying the foundation for an exciting new project: Radiant Life School of Ministry. I could go on and on about it, but to save time, I’ll point you to a link that has all the details (shoutout to Angie Lynch for putting it together!). You can check it out here: https://earlgardner.org/radiant/
I’m so thrilled about this new adventure! Ephesians 4:11-12 tells us that Christ gave us gifts— apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—to equip His people for works of service and to build up the body of Christ. Somewhere along the way, I think we got it backward. It seems like we’ve come to expect ministers to do all the work while the rest of us sit back and enjoy the teaching. But the truth is, these gifts are meant to help believers grow and step into the ministry themselves. Your life is your ministry. Imagine what the church could accomplish if we embraced that!
This will be my final article for December as I’m taking a little time off. But I’ll be back in January, refreshed and ready for what’s ahead. In the meantime, I encourage you to check out the Radiant Life School link. If you can’t attend, I ask you to pray about supporting a student who might need help covering tuition. God bless you, Merry Christmas and I’ll see you in the new year!
